I really like the Indians in this spot as the A's have not won a series in quite some time so I expect them to lose game 2. Ubaldo Jimenez is actually on 6 days rest and they have really been spacing him out and the results have been good. Jimenez has pitched well against Oakland in his career and I look for that to continue tonight. He's got a 3.00 ERA on the road on 5+ days of rest and he's facing an A's team that really struggles to put runs up on the board.

On the flip side Dan Straily who is an extreme fly ball pitcher still doesn't pitch well in his own ball park. He's on just 4 days rest where he carries a 6.11 ERA and only averages 5 innings per start. I expect the Indians to knock him out early and to take this game.
